Surrounded by vineyards, the hotel is located on a slight hill with a magnificent view of the Douro Valley. Following a structural extension, scheduled for completion in summer 2025, it now has 60 rooms and a presidential suite. The buildings of a former “quinta” winery have been harmoniously combined with modern architecture to create a unique symbiosis.

It has 60 rooms of between 29 and 100 m², in double and suite format.
The surface area of the plot is 215,000 m² of which 18,500 m² are used by the hotel, 164,735 m² are destined to vineyards, with a production of 200 barrels, equivalent to 70,000 bottles. Of these barrels, 33 are Port.

The complex has outdoor facilities with swimming pool and terraces and private parking. Indoor facilities include gym, SPA, library, chapel, lounge, wine store, conference center, small museum, bar and restaurant.

The Douro region, in northern Portugal, is the oldest wine-growing region in the world, with borders established in 1756. It begins about 80 kilometers east of the city of Porto, in the Serra do Marão, and extends on both sides of the Douro River to the Spanish border.

The place is recognized and protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
